Faithful 04:42
Faithful I’m put out like a fire in the wind and snow And I'm covered like a drifter nobody knows But I'm faithful, faithful to me She's burned out like a horse in summertime hot She's a pool in the distance, a fading mirage But she's faithful, faithful to me I've tried so hard to believe, That nothing’s really happening, Nothing has happened to me. In ordinary time, I'm not the man who cries, I'm leaning on the arms that set me free. But when the chips are piled high, and the bullet starts to bite, All hail the one who's looking out for me. Its nothing that I like to remember at night Everything about last December was right And it's faithful, faithful to me So cut me like a wire, it's centerfold time, Hit me with a whiff of black smoke in my eyes Cause it's faithful, faithful to me Tell me you got something just to get by Tell me you got something that will Fade out the blue of the sky. In ordinary time, I'm not the man who cries, I'm leaning on the arms that set me free. But when the chips are piled high, and the bullet starts to bite, All hail the one who's looking out for me. So take me to the edge and I'll cast out my lots I'm sleeping in the canyon until I get caught it's faithful, faithful to me Take me to the edge and I'll cast out my lots I've been sleeping in the canyon and I've never been caught. It's faithful, faithful to me. In ordinary time, I'm not the man who cries, I'm leaning on the arms that set me free. But when the chips are piled high, and the bullet starts to bite, All hail the one who's looking out for me.

Eugene 03:47
Eugene Are there voices in your heart Voices in the dark Movement in the walls And I’m a wreck There’s a rider in the distance He’s always coming There’s a corner in the mist for us To take me in It’s a long way from Amarillo It’s a long reach from Lubbock too So bury me in Eugene baby I’m asking No one will ever find me there but you No one will ever find me there but you Are there lashes in the dark There’s screaming in your heart Your mom was in the house She was a wreck There’s a rider in the distance He’s always been coming There’s a corner in the mist for us To take you in It’s a long way from Amarillo It’s a long reach from Lubbock too So bury me in Eugene baby I’m asking No one will ever find me there but you I’m a long way from Amarillo I’m a long reach from Lubbock too Bury me in Eugene baby I’m asking No one will ever find me there but you

Nowhere Nevada I’m not much for flowers But I’m not much for tears and broken hearts I spent the night in Reno Spent the night in Reno in a bar When I lost my money I called my mother on the phone Then she called my baby Who’d rather just go home alone I’m in Nowhere Nevada With a spade in my hand You either bury the gamble Or you bury the man I’m not much for drinking, I already dug my own grave But if I filled it with liquor I’d fill it with Tito’s Handmade When I lost my money I bet it on nineteen and two But the dealer drew a seven Now I’m six in the hole with the blues I’m in Nowhere Nevada With a spade in my hand You either bury the gamble Or you bury the man I’m not much for talking But I already told you this far And you patiently waited For me to lay down my last card Two pairs of aces beats a house full of lonely and tough But three faces in black suits Will carry me out, royal flush I’m in Nowhere Nevada With a spade in my hand You either bury the gamble Or you bury the man I’m in Nowhere Nevada With a spade in my hand You either bury the gamble Or you bury the man

Finds My Heart I hear that gospel message it’s calling out my name calling out my name amidst the crowd But I haven’t been a listening it’s calling out my name calling out my name amidst the crowd My heart finds its way down to the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart My knees shake the whole way down the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart I see that preacher preaching He’s calling out my name Calling out my name amidst the crowd But I haven’t been a looking He’s calling out my name Calling out my name amidst the crowd My heart finds its way down to the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart My knees shake the whole way down the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart I know the shepherd is reaching out He’s calling out my name Calling out my name amidst the crowd I know it’s him who’s calling out… He’s calling out my name Calling out my name amidst the crowd My heart finds its way down to the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart My knees shake the whole way down the aisle The way down to the aisle finds my heart

Where You Go 03:42
Where You Go Where you go I will go Where your hope lies I will hope I’ll work these hands till my lamp burns low Wherever you will go now I will go Don’t tell me that I’m lying Don’t say that I’m so young Don’t tell me that I’ve never tasted love I’ve had enough Just tell me where we’re headed A story about your home Could you speak of something better than the past it’s getting old Where you go I will go Where your hope lies I will hope I’ll work these hands till my lamp burns low Wherever you will go now I will go Don’t tell me that I’m lonesome Or bless your little heart Don’t say that I don’t understand the world and all its parts I have stared into the wildness of an unshaken mother bird There is shelter underneath her mighty wings from all that hurts Where you go I will go Where your hope lies I will hope I’ll work these hands till my lamp burns low Wherever you will go now I will go

about

Hi,
Nathan and I began playing music together around twenty years ago when I was in college. Nathan, then in high school, started driving into Memphis on Friday afternoons from his home in Somerville to spend the weekends with my roommate, Josh. After just a visit or two, Nathan and I discovered that we spoke the same musical language. We often spent hours jamming on the front porch of the little house where Josh and I lived near the university, and we became close friends. Now, decades later, friendship endures and musical partnership continues. In the Summer of 2019, Nathan and I got together with Gregg Willams at The Trench Studio in Portland to record five songs in a single day. Our hope was to pay a little tribute to those early front-porch jam sessions in Tennessee by capturing that same collaborative vibe on a record. We are pretty pleased with the result. We hope you will be too.
